Coronavirus kept me away from football grounds for 18 month. Football became a TV sport and whilst that’s how some people get their fix – it’s really not for me. I love exploring and I love Scotland.
My mission is to get round every single home team in Scotland and take in a game. Here’s a few of my ground rules.
- Use public transport wherever possible. This adds to the experience
- Visit every home team. This may include visiting the same ground more than once where groundsharing occurs.
- Research clubs beforehand to get a feel for who they are and the place they hold in the community.
- Always write positively about clubs. I’m not here to give anyone a bad rep. I will however write honestly about my experiences. The purpose of documenting all of this is for me, as a hobby and to be able to look back on these in years to come.
I hope you enjoy any of the articles on this website, whether you’re a representitive of a club I’ve visited or whether you’re inspired to do something similar – you’re more than welcome.
